SpaceX reusable rocket launch moved to Saturday

by Chris Zappone

The brutal assassination of the editors at Charlie Hedbo and the challenge to Enlightenment values in France raises a question of where, in this globalized world, is humanity heading?

For this reason, it’s particularly gratifying to see the progress of technology that reaffirms the possibilities of humanity through science. With that said, SpaceX will try to launch its reusable rocket at 4.47am Saturday morning US time. The company has postponed it from an earlier launch time of Friday.

While the Charlie Hedbo attack is going to reverberate for some time, the footage of the rocket launch and return, if successful, will offer a bracing contrast to the events in France over the last few days. I look forward to the launch.
