Until Snowden produces proof that the US is downloading China’s cutting edge, leading technology and feeding it to US industry to sell on global markets, I don’t think the Snowden drama is really support China’s stand on cyber security.

The article ends:

The ball is now in Washington’s court. The U.S. government had better move to allay the concerns of other countries.

That’s only true if Snowden’s acts have completely turned the table on the cyber issue. And if that’s the case, it would be a diplomatic win for China with a huge element of surprise and even some intrigue.
